Peter Yung(b.1949) is a photographer, producer, and Hong Kong New Wave director. His works including “The System” (1979) and “Life After Life” (1981) etc. Lumenvisum organized “Heaven, Earth and Human” Peter Yung’s 55 Years Retrospective exhibition shows how Yung exemplifies the different trends of contemporary photography in his unique wave of expression. It displays around 300 works by Yung in the past half century (since 1966), to be divided into three sections and 12 groups.

The tracing paper was used to construct the visual identity concept that matches the artistic conception of Yung's. The motion of Fade in and out is like the focus and out-focus motion from the camera. I found a similar sense from those motions. Therefore I decided to use tracing paper to run through the main promotion material.
Yung’s selected around 300 photography images for an exhibition booklet as the exhibition extension item. I keep the design clean and simple but with some detailed features, for example, the embossed print on the cover and raw paper edge to represent the experiences from Yung's.
